So, what I want to do?

Now that I know what I need, I must buy books on learning such things. I want to read the book Ego Is My Enemy by Ryan Holiday. Yeah, I searched for that book 2 years ago, and now that it’s out on the market, I kinda don't want to read it. Because it is sort of a spiritual book, and I am now into how-to’s book. Like how to make a great first impression on how to do affiliate marketing or, you know, make followers on the internet. Mostly, I want to learn how to earn passive income from various resources. Resource management. Juggling different clients, projects, and so on. That's what I want to learn from books to apply in real life.

One thing I learned from these books is that when ideas come and get you, you don’t let them pass by. Instead, you catch it and make something out of it. Anything you can imagine! If it works, great. If It doesn’t work, that's okay. At least you did what you were supposed to do. That's what I have learned so far.

I still have a lot to learn. I need directions, I need mentors, and, if not, followers. I want to teach and also learn. I don’t want to sit in a booth for 7 hours daily and make something on my computer. That shit is too depressing. I have done it before, and I will never do that again. I mean, if I am obsessed about something, I will sit for hours on end to discover or make it work, but I won’t sit at my desk daily doing something that I don’t want to do.

So, What do I want to do?

What I want to do is create something with friends, colleagues, and followers. A big studio where we do everything. Yes, I mean everything. But most of all, shooting videos and photos. Yup, That would be my main goal. Because everything is digital, we need to get into digital marketing. That is why big companies or channels invest in such studios where they click premium videos. Take a look at MKBHD or LTT or Proko.

Suppose I have a big studio and a big investor.

What is the first thing that I would like to do?

The first thing is bringing out ideas about the next big thing. I mean, it doesn’t have to be the best thing, it just has to be the thing that makes us recognizable in digital marketing. Throwing random things like. Concept photography, stop motions, fashion photography, green screen action, random podcasts, parodies about art, or big bluff. All the things we can create in the sanctuary of our studio. I would also make it an art exhibition for connecting with new and amazing artists. Teaching the young generation about the importance of art. WOW! The possibilities are endless when you think of a place to put your ideas. I mean a Studio! WOW.

So, what do I need to get my studio?

Of course, I can't run my studio alone. I mean, I would need partners to run a decent studio. I need at least 4 partners or maybe 3 partners to establish a studio. I know I can establish my standalone studio, but what about running? I mean, when I have a studio, and I can’t think of anything else. Let’s start from the beginning.

I am in my learning phase. Should I make a mental map? Of course. Why not? My personal favorite one-liner is: Why not?

People see things as they are and ask why? I imagine things that never were and ask why not? -Geroge Bernard Shaw.

Mental map of my career. From now to the studio.

  • uncheckedReading a lot of books on how to be prosperous and actually applying them in real life.

  • uncheckedDiscovering my artistic style.

  • uncheckedMeeting new people with the same passion as I am and who are eager to help each other to make an impact.

  • uncheckedBuilding relationships from different walks of life and generating clients from them.  Link and referral are the most common ways to spread word of mouth and approval.

  • uncheckedHuman resource management. Placing the right people at the right place. While building relationships, people will need certain help from me. A quick referral or linking the right people with the right resources will be the most helpful thing to do.

  • uncheckedWe all are here to help each other out, so no gatekeeping. We can set boundaries for personal stuff, but when it comes to helping fellow artists or anybody in need, we first investigate their history and help them out. In some cases, the person we are helping might want to do harm to the society. Such parasites should be left alone, or they will infect others too.

  • uncheckedBuild a huge fan base and collaborate with other artists in a draw-off challenge or other epic adventure. Let viewers know that they are heard by doing what they advise and what’s in our reach.

  • uncheckedFor viewers or followers, I still have to learn to build a following and handle positive as well as negative comments. I haven’t even set foot in this field, but I am doing something. So, what book should I read to understand this and begin my digital journey? I have no idea. I think YouTubee should be the platform for me to get started.

  • uncheckedBring out something new. People like new stuff like pressure cooker te, Umbrella street, or anything unfamiliar and interesting.

  • uncheckedLearn about visual hooks, storytelling in reels, attention span, and framing. This world is changing every minute,e so make sure to look at trends but make sure to not get too dependent on trends only. People come to see something new and exciting. When you just follow trends, then what is the use of coming back when everybody is doing the same as you.

  • uncheckedOkay. Now, we have artists, investors, and followers. Now what? Now you get clients. Yes. Okay, once you have all these, it's time to review your builds and see what you really are. I mean, what content gets you the most views, what people love about you, what you are good at, and what you want to give to the community. Once you figure that out, proceed to make a portfolio for business. Pitch in, make ideas, do ads. Wherever it takes to grow your channel.

  • uncheckedYou now have a niche, a brand identity, People will see you as a brand you build upon years of tinkering. You can be a painter, illustrator, photographer, visual storyteller, actor, dancer, musician, or anything. Once you grab a niche, follow the path that mostly revolves around your niche.  And always do something new and cool because it’s our life, and we are allowed to do something out of the box, but don’t ever break principles. The ground rules of who you are. I mean, don’t do shit that will hurt your future self. Yes.

  • uncheckedWe are now close to getting a studio. After years of grinding, we might have some money to invest in a studio. But not yet. We will need a good advisor to start a business. Those taxes and stuff we have to give to the government. I mean we now need to understand government papers and portals. The bureaucracy is right.

  • uncheckedAnd now comes partners. The most essential of them all. Choosing the right partner who is as passionate and willing to help society is vital in running a successful business. Forget about all those things if we don’t have a partner who is willing to take the hit and keep moving forward. A trusted one who dreams of serving society with their art. And one thing. It is better to start alone than to start with the wrong partners. They become obstacles rather than a way to success.

  • uncheckedOnce you have assembled all of these traits and built your brands. You now have a decent studio where you can do whatever you want to serve society and fuel success. Things are easier said than done, but if you never try, you will never know.

I never wanted to regret not trying something. It’s better to try and fail. - Hayao Miyazaki.

And then try again until you succeed.
